The YogaLife symbol represents more than just a logo for me. We treat our centre as a retreat, a home away from home for everyone who visits, and our logo is a natural extension of the 'feeling' we want those who visit to feel. Below is some background to our symbol:​

• The icon symbolizes an 8 leaf lotus flower.
• In many cultures and traditions the lotus flower symbolises the purity of the body, speech and mind whilst deeply rooted in the muddy wates that represents attachment and worldly desires. 
• The 8 points signifies a compass to life.
• The symmetry of the logo signifies the balance of yin/yang, female/masculine, yogic ingla/pingala, conscious/unconsciousness.
• The significance of the number 8 - ‘Karmic’. Eternal. Present. Strength. Powerful. (8 petals. 8 large circles. 8 small circles…)
• “The Eight-Pointed Rosette Star of Inanna” was used as inspiration, which is thousands of years old representing an 8 pointed star & flower.  The intensity of a pointed star and the subtlety of a delicate flower. The goddess Inanna (or like the hindu Goddess Kali) are about passion and creativity.
•  Our color palette are unique to our brand. Purple is associated to the higher chakra, wisdom, power, enlightenment; whilst turquoise is associsated to with calm, cool and collected.
