YogaLife conducts classes on this beautiful land on Mooro Nyoongar Boodja, Mooro People’s Land and would like to acknowledge the Wadjak people of the Nyoongar Nation as the traditional custodians of Mooro country, and recognise their continuing connection to the land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging. Lizette believes in "being the change you want see in the world" and is committed in supporting local and international organisations offering her services as a way to support these organisations. In turn, by offering support and uniting with these organisations Lizette believes she can make a positive change for humanity.

As a passionate advocate of Yoga and its benefit, Lizette is committed in sharing its value amongst the comunnity. Lizette has been working with the council of City of Stirling and its community since 2014 offering yoga classes to the local community. In January 2022 Lizette's work was acknowledged as a leader of the community in promoting health both physically and mentally, and nominated by the City of Stirling and Mayor Mark Irwin as Citizen of the Year 2022. The Naala Djookan Healing Centre
Lizette is proud to be a part of The Naala Djookan Healing Centre for women, by offering Yoga to its community. The City of Stirling is the lead organisation for The Naala Djookan Healing Centre whom seek to simplify access to family and domestic violence affected women and children, through a range of integrated and evidence-based services in one safe, inclusive, culturally responsive and welcoming location. The centre plays a key role in the community, providing therapeutic support to women and children throughout their journey. Lizette has an ongoing relationship working and supporting the council of City of Canning and its community since 2016 by offering yoga classes to the local community, workshops and running large Yoga events at their annual Wellness Festival of Movement and RU OK? Day campagines. In September 2020 she will be delivering a series of workshops throughout the City of Canning to promote mental health awarness and wellness for RUOK? Day 2020. Over 7 years Lizette has regularly offered classes for Lululemon Athletica to help promote Yoga to the community of Perth, WA. For several years she has supported the Karrinyup store in Western Australia run their annual summer Sunset Yoga sessions at Clarko Reserve at Trigg Beach; and also runs in-store classes too.
